Authenticity, our take...
In a market where signatures and memorabilia can be difficult to verify, we take a meticulous, evidence-based approach to ensure every item meets a high standard of legitimacy. This is essential to maintaining our credibility.
Many of the items we offer are accompanied by trusted third-party authentication. Some of our items will have been obtained directly from source, either in person, through a celebrity's agent, on consignment in partnership with a celebrity or directly from their website.
Interstellar Collectibles will provide verification of authenticity once all necessary steps have been taken to validate them. In this instance an Interstellar Collectibles, tamper proof, holographic sticker will be attached to the item and this may be accompanied by a certificate of some kind.
Any certificate issued will bear the exact same serial number as the holographic sticker. Items obtained in person, for example during a Spotlight Session, will always come with a certificate of some kind and it shall bear the word Witnessed or letter W either on the front or rear.
Certificates may sometimes be marked on the rear with UV Ink.
Credibility...
This can only be built on transparency and consistency. Whether an item was signed in a private session, obtained in person, or verified through a recognized authentication service, that information is presented upfront and will be stated in the product description.
This allows collectors—both new and experienced—to make informed decisions and understand exactly what stands behind each item in our inventory.
